It was that bad.&nbsp; Hey.&nbsp; It happens.&nbsp; We all get sick sometimes.&nbsp; The problem was timing.&nbsp; We had a daughter getting married and it was important that he could show up and support her.<\/p><p>As this cold dragged on, the realization that being there was becoming bleak.&nbsp; With the wedding in two days, we were still waiting for the fever to break, a sign that he was getting better.<\/p><p>The day before the wedding, I had the thought to pray.&nbsp; Not just a prayer, but a healing prayer.&nbsp; I know ultimately that it is God who decides whether to heal or not because He knows best but I had a feeling to pray for healing.&nbsp; So, I prayed.&nbsp; I prayed that he could be better for the wedding and the evening of festivities.&nbsp; I prayed that my daughter&#8217;s day would be good.&nbsp; Then, I waited for the miracle.<\/p><p>As Tuesday came and went, that night my husband mentioned how much better he felt.&nbsp; No fever, no drippy nose, hardly any coughing.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p><p>The day of the wedding, my husband felt great!&nbsp; We went to the wedding, and celebrated later that afternoon.&nbsp; It was as though he didn\u2019t have a serious cold two days before.&nbsp;<\/p><p>This little miracle was a fingerprint of God!&nbsp; For Him to care about this detail in my life that was so important to me reinforced a God who knows Me.&nbsp; Who loves me.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p><p>I am grateful to see His fingerprints in my life.&nbsp; The more I see HIM, the more I can trust that He is there all the time if I just look.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two weeks ago, my husband got sick with a nasty cold.&nbsp; It was not just sniffles.&nbsp; It was full blown fever, chills, heaviness in his chest.&nbsp; He thought he could die.
