When you take the time to write (or type) a story down, you are not only keeping a memory that you can turn back to when things are hard in your life, you are creating a history for your loved ones to hold on to when they need inspiration from a loved one. In these quiet moments as you write your story, you are more likely to see more impressions of His fingerprints, and feel the love of God in your life more deeply.
